My name is Darren Turcotte; I’m from Val-Coté, a little French village in northern Ontario, Canada. I’m currently 20 years old. I am working full time with Strategik Builders, ive been riding atv, motocross, since im 4 years old , This year i race Central Ontario class and i southern series. I’m trying to train myself to be faster & better! In Hearst, just 20 minutes away from my home there’s a track where I can go practice every now and then but for the next season i want to build a track in my backyard for my practice. I competed in smaller races in junior class. This winter I plan to buy a race trailerwith my brother to travel around Ontario and Quebec so I could be able to participate at more races. I just started racing last year; I often finished in the first 3, i race with my brother. My parents are the biggest support, they help me through everything. They encourage me all the time to run after my dream. I try to make it to all the races so I can get more experience.
Goals for 2014:
- Place top 3 in all races; try to get the number 1.
- Race in Central Ontario, Southern Series & in Quebec.
- Try to make it to all the races.
- Build a pro track by Mx track builders
