Personal History
Hi there !! My name is Tyler Plunkett i'm 25 years, i live in Paola KS. I've owned my quad for 4 years and just recently got into racing it in local fair and indoor arena TT and Flat Track Races. When i'm not racing or at work i'm in the gym or in the garage, sometimes trail ride sxs with freinds or go to the dunes. I race with a handful of good freinds, most who are much younger than me and are always up to challenge me to do my best.
I'm also a solider in The United States Army Kansas National Gaurd, holding the rank of specialist. I also hold an Associate of Arts degree from Allen County Community College and am going back to school part-time online starting up again in the spring to achive my bachelors degree.
Riding Goals
Some of my riding goals would be, to continue to improve the number of podium finishes and top three heat race finishes as well as finishing in the top three in points at Emma indoor Arena, i would like to keep racing and improving the speed and functionality of my bike, including power and suspenstion upgrades, and overall look of my ride. I would also like to improve off the track in areas than in the longterm will help me on the track, to include lifting weights in the gym, running, and overall diet and physical fittnes.
I'm striving to know as much as possible about my machine and all my freinds quads, as well as my fellow competitors setup, so i can continue to improve, change, and adapt to make myself, my quad and my racing teammates/ freinds better.
one goal i have to help any of my freinds i race with improve their season compared to the last as well as improve the setup on their bike, and inturn help them achive their goals and attain sponsorships and high achivements
Competitive Highlights
Being that i'm a rookie i dont have many competitive highlights, i'm trying to make as many races as i possibly can and contuinue to improve my finishes. As of right now i have two first place finishes, one at Emma Indoor Raceway in Emma Missouri, during round 3 in the 200/ 4 stroke class on December 9th, 2016.
The other First place finish was in Paola Kansas at the annual Miami county fair Flat track race.
other races resulting in other finishes include 5th place in the 200/400 class at Green ridge mo race in september of 2016.
And a 7th place finish at rumble on the trail TT race in overbrook mo in 2015
Previous to those races ive never competed in any other sanctioned races, although i have race experience prior to.
