Personal History

My name is Ryan McGregor. I am 28  and racing is my passion. I love racing, the adrenal it gives you and the way you feel when in the air after hitting a huge jump. Everyday I enjoy riding on my track and making myself better. I go to the gym daily to keep in shape and to better myself. Besides racing I enjoy coaching kids baseball, basketball and football. I started out just riding a Yamaha Blaster at the age of 12 just for fun. I got talked into trying to race it and started racing at the age of 13. After my 1st race, I was hooked and know this was my passion. I quickly sold the Blaster and bought a Honda Trx 250R. This was my first real race quad. I raced this quad until the age of 18. I won a lot of races on this machines and Championships. I then bought a Yamaha YFZ 450 and raced that for another 2 years. When I was 20, I took a break from racing to attend college and to start a family. I still rode about daily just didn't have enough time to race. During College I earned 2 Major Degress and 1 Minor Degree. I got back into racing this year at the good age of 28. I'm currently riding the YFZ 450 and am loving it.

Riding Goals

This season is all about getting back into shape and back into the routine of things again. I have taken a few years off from racing, so I'm eager to see how this year treats me. This year will also be a learning year to see how I need to build the quad and how I need to better myself for next year. This season I want to finish in the Top 3 in the District Championship. I want to go to a few National races as well and figure out what to do for next season as well. Next year I accept it to be a lot better than this season, as this season will be mainly just a relearning year. Next season I want to be in the Top 10 at Nationals and Win the District 22 Championship.

Competitive Highlights

I have won a lot of local races, fair races, and District Championships in my racing Career. I have performed Stunt Shows during the intermission monster truck shows and have also races during the intermission of Monster Truck Shows and other Car Shows. I usually have a good showing at all race events I go to and usually place in the Top 3. This year I finished 2nd in the District 22 Championship. I expect next year to be even better for me.
