Personal History

When I firsted started racing, I was on a bike no body thought was raceableI, it was a 125 yamaha breeze, automatic. It was heavy and not as faced as the bikes I competed against. I rode in the TQRA mini's class, back when there was only a pe-wee mini, and suer mini classes. there was almost 20 kids at every race and almost every race we had qulifiers. I never missed a qulifiier, and was alwasy in the top ten. My overall season landed me in 7th place, but I was happy becuase my goal was to finish top ten that year. My second season I was still racing the Breeze and my dad did everything he could to supe it up for the super-mini class, my age made it were I had no choice but to move up classes. My dad re-did the motor, bought me customed made WORKS shox, and he even built an aluminum swing-arm to make the bike lighter. I rode really hard, and kept up with mnay honda 90's that were shifters. I was racing for thirf place and only lost it by one point when my chain fell off last lap. reaching my goal again that year of finishing in the top five I had no choice but to move up classes again. so my dad threw me on my brother honda 400ex and into the ladies class. I had never road a shifter with a clutch before sense my breeze was automatic, but I got the hang of it and finshed my first season on a big bike in 3rd place. I stayed on the 400 for another year and won the ladies championship. from there I've just continued to move up. along with racing, Im active at school, running corss country, long distance track, and swim team. have a pretty big family. My mom and dad Stan, Dianne, and two older brothers, Keith and Chad. My older brother keith is 21 years old, and used to ride with me in the TQRA series, I would'tn say he's done racing, but he is having a hard time getting back into it with money problems. Last class he rode was the Pro Am class. I have lots of animals wich I consider my family members. 4 cats, and 3 dogs. My dog Moto is a Chocolate Lab and my mascot at the track. :) My family has been very suportive of me racing, and without them I would not have made it very far. But summer of 2010 I broke my pelvis in 4 different Places, practicing with the Open B class at Badlands MX in Greenville TX. I was ran over by another rider. My medical bills are herendous, and my family's having a hard time with money. But even though I had a really scary crash, I still want to race. Racing is my life, I love it very much, when I'm on the track I'm at home, I'm free, I feel proud of myself, I know it's what I meant to do.I've been racing almost my whole life, 7 years and I cant imagin my life without this beautiful sport. I sometimes cry to myself when I even imagin selling my Honda. I want to continue racing, and push the envelope of girs in the world of Motocross.

Riding Goals

My overall main goal, is to one day race in the ATVA nationals, Men Pro class. But my smaller goals leading up to that are, gettign faster and smoother on the track. Before my crash, I was begining to get into the top of the OpenB class, my goal that race season before I crashed was to finish topp five. I want to become a well Known woman racer like Heather Byrd, maybe even better. I want to become more fearless. I would like next race season, to bump it up and try and get top 3 in the Open B class, of TQRA, and dominate the Ladies class with frist places straight across the board. I want to be able to ride as hard as I can for a long period of time, build my endurance and stamina. Other than just racing, I want to branch off and start freestyle too, like colten and caleb, and nick hickey, guys I grew up racing with.
