Personal History

My name is Katelyn Briel, and I'm currently 14 years old. I take several advanced classes in school and I'm on the high honor roll. I started racing in September of 2014 on a 2014 trx250x. I completed the last 3 races of the WNYOA series in 2014. In 2015, I finished all 16 of the races in the WNYOA series on the same quad. There was usually about 20 riders in my class and my best finish was 7th. I completed the season with at least 3 top 10 finishes (that I can remember), and I finished off the year with 12th overall in the Teen Novice class!

Riding Goals

My goal for the 2016 season is to finish every race and finish off the year in the top 5 overall in the Teen Novice class. If I achieve this goal, I plan to move up to the Teen line with the fast kids! I'm on a trx300ex this year, and it's helped me build confidence, speed, and determination!

Competitive Highlights

I get along great with my fellow competitors, which is important to me so I can stay focused and calm during each race! I've raced one national race in 2015, and I'll be racing 2 GNCC races this 2016 season!
