Personal History

I served in the US Coast Guard from 2004-2013 (9 years) as Culinary Specialist. In 2002, I began riding ATVs. Over the next 17 years, I began to compete in local races as often as I could. I even participated in a few MX races. I continue to race frequently in the Dirt Series in Southern California placing top in my class as an ATV rider. Recently at the Del Mar Fair 2019, I was able to participate in the WGAS Motorsports sponsored race for Off Road Vehicles. I took 3rd place that day in the Warfighter Made Vietnam Tribute Rzr just 0.7 seconds behind the leader. I continue to race and it is my hope to expand my racing not only to ATVs but to UTVs also to reach the highest level of competition that I can. I am also working hard to organize Phoenix Racing as a veteran and active duty competitive off road team. As I work with my significant other to get Phoenix Racing ready to compete in the Dirt Series( SoCal), WORCS Series and the Best In the Desert.

Riding Goals

My goal for the rest of the 2019 season is to finish out the Dirt Series and install new upgrades to bring the quad up to a more comparable level of the 450s in my class. I have been recently been volunteering at a non-profit and it has only increased my drive and dedication to racing. With that newly recharged drive, I decided to bring together a group of veterans and active duty members to create Phoenix Racing Team to compete in the 2020 season. All team members individually and as a whole will be competing in the Dirt Series, WORCS series and Best in the Desert.
A long term goal and dream is to add more equipment to the team ie: a large quad built for desert racing, a UTV and possibly a truck. I would like to continue to grow the team and raise awareness for adrenaline therapy for veterans providing another opportunity to compete, have fun and raise awareness.

Competitive Highlights

Finished in the top 5 in two races and top 10 in 6 races. I have been featured on Transworld’s website 4 times.
