Personal History

well my names dakota hagan, I'm from the small town of blackwell oklahoma. i have been riding since i was about 5 and raced a lot when i was younger but took a big spill and ended up getting injured. i broke my right shoulder, arm, and wrist. after that my parents decided to call it quits for because of the risk. but I've now decided that i want to do it again. i have been riding at the dunes for about 5 years now going out there cruising jumping just riding to flow with the bike better. i have been looking into getting back into racing a lot. I plan on racing the tqra and the kams series next season for sure. i don't have much riding history but it is something I'm passionate about in a very big way. I've been on a 450 since i was 14, actually started out with a 06 ltr 450 daily stock. then i decided to get a more race ready bike to ride, i now own a 05 honda 450r built by johnny hale. being now that I'm 19 I've had a lot of time to adapt and learn to flow with my bike. making mistakes along the way but always learning from them everytime. riding has always been my escape, when nothing was going right i knew i could throw a helmet on and go out to clear my mind and for that instant everything would be ok for that time i was away from people.

Riding Goals

my goals riding are yet undecided honestly. you probably hear it more often then not that kids want to live off a racing lifestyle, i can't say i don't want that but the honest reality is that if i don't get my name out there then i won't even have a chance for any of that. i want to be known on national level, i want to go see the world and experience everything but i want all that through a racing career. i want to be sponsored, be on the road with a team. i want to experience it all. ultimate goal for sure is to be a sponsored factory rider. but only through hard work, training, and very much determination will that even be something to think about. riding is so much more then getting on a quad and pushing the throttle. your physical shape plays the biggest role in the game. if you aren't on top of that then it doesn't matter how fast your bike is if you don't have the stamina to ride it the whole race.
