Personal History
my name is Joseph Poche I'm 12 yrs old from Latrobe Pennsylvania. This is my first year ever racing. I love to race and it has become all I wanna do. If I'm not racing I'm keeping in shape and practicing. My parents both really support me and have given me the absolute best platform to succeed and continue to help me get faster and do better. Im fourth in points as of right now and started the year finishing 7th and 8th to running 2nd and 3rd and with the leaders. I had a setback this year when I broke my forearm but have comeback faster and stronger than ever. Having my best 3 races since!
Riding Goals
My goals are to start moving to bigger tracks and doing ama sanctioned races such as pleasure valley, highpoint, and others around me. I have started practicing at Breezewood Proving Grounds to get more experience on bigger tracks. I hope to finish 1st overall and win my class next year at Latrobe Speedway. My mom and dad are trying to get me classes with Joel Hetrick before the summers over since he's a hometown guy to help me be the best I can which I wanna be! My overall goal is to get to loretta lynns and get a podium!
Competitive Highlights
Multiple 3rd and fourths at Latrobe speedway and 2nd my last race at Latrobe Speedway. I haven't had much more since I've only raced 6 races so far this year in my 1st year. 2 of which I dnf cause I had a broken forearm.
