Personal History

Well I am at the hill but I will never go over. I am a 32 year old kid that will never stop having fun. I have been riding since I was nine. I have always been a racing fan of the car nature since I was little. I never thought I would start to become an MX fan not to mention a competor in the MX community. When I saw my first MX race when I was little, I thought man what crazy fools. Then later on I met some of the crazy fools, when I moved up to Spokane, Wa. At the time I had a Polaris Scrambler 500. My buddies took me out on a atv trip. One of them let me ride their 450 quad. I wasn't even on it for five minutes and was hooked. I knew at that time I had to get one. So I went looking at the different quads. For some reason I was just hooked on the Can Am DS 450. I think I was impressed how Can Am went out of their way to have a quad race ready for the average joe. The only bad thing was, in Spokane there was a six month waiting list for the MX version. So I went an got the 2009 EFI stock model and have been upgrading it every couple of months. Once I got most of the safety devices on the quad I started to just practice at the local track learning by watching dirt bikes on how they took the different obstacles. I practiced for about two months going on the weekens. Then I finally got the nerve to try out my first race on the 27th September 2010. Lets say it was little more than a disaster. But I keeped my head up after recking on the third lap. Even though I lost, I was hooked. Two weeks later I took first place in that event with my fastest times for that track. So to sum me up I am a person who is committed to what I do no matter if its my job in the Air Force or Racing, I always give 110%.

Riding Goals

For the 2013 season I am setting myself another busy schedule.  First I want to compete in both the Outdoors Series and Black Widow Series, which are both local track events.  This year I plan to go to alll the Quadcross Northwest Regional Series this year.. This series started last year having a big success with the Washougal as the finally which was pretty epic.  Last year I only had been able to compete in three of the seven events due to scheduling conflicts. With that said, In the two local track events I will be entering in the 450 Production Amature Class.  As far as the Quadcross Northwest Series  I'm enter in the  450 Production "B" Class, Open B Class and Possibily the Vet B Class as well.  Last year I had such a blast in this series when I showed up.  This up coming season will with no doubt be a busy one for me.

Competitive Highlights

This past season was a bust for me.  When I did race I had alot of mechanical failures mainly clutch issues but when the quad did run I was able to finish in the top three slots.  Ok I never got first this year but I placed second and third.  I did learn the regional guys are a lot more competitive than the local tracks which was a wake up call for me however I will be ready for 2013 season thats for sure.
