Personal History

I have been racing for three years but have only raced two full seasons.  When I'm not working, I'm mainly prepping my bike, for it has been an uphill battle from day one.  I also enjoy spending time working around the house, maintaining my truck, working on friends' vehicles, mentoring the kids and other riders out at the track, and watching past and present recordings of different types of racing, like the Mountain Dew ATVA National Motocross Championship, Monster Energy Supercross, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, etc.  Honestly, anything with a motor and wheels I'm into.  I attended Texas State Technical College for Automotive Technology and plan to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute when I finish my contract with the Air Force.

Riding Goals

My riding goals are to continue getting faster, smarter, consistent and sustain a longer endurance.  I try to ride 4-5 times a week, weather and work schedule permitting, hit the gym and run 2-4 miles three or four times a week.

Competitive Highlights

In the first year of my racing career, I landed myself on the podium 5 out of the 7 races I entered.  Three of which being the first three races of my life finishing in 3rd.  I suffered an injury halfway through the season which put me out of a round and suffered mechanical problems at the next race, finishing 6th.  I finished the year out at the last two races in 2nd, landing me third in the championship for the year.

The following year, 2014, I moved up a class into the novice class.  Missed the first round of the season due to military tasking but came back to the second round picking up where I left off in the previous season finishing in second.  At the next race, I found myself back at the track I was injured at the previous year, but this time, I was smarter.  I didn't make it easy on myself in both motos but I worked my way up to 2nd in the first moto and was able to get around first to take the overall in the second moto.

In 2015, I was plagued by bike mishaps and broken parts.  But through it all, I found myself on the top step of the podium 6 times, along with 2 second place finishes, a third and a sixth.  I missed two rounds due to a blown motor and a broken axle right before the upcoming race.  I remained resilient through all the hardships and was able to capture the overall championship.
