Personal History

Hello, my name is Adam J Bills. I grew up in Pennsylvania working on a dairy farm and racing motor cross. I was born in Latrobe PA, where I entered the United States Army in July 1997. I started riding when I was about 5 years old and I found my passion in life! I joined the U.S. Army 18 years ago and I have made a great career of it but my passion is now and has always been racing! Most of my free time is spent riding our quads and pit bike with my wife and three girls, shooting our guns, fishing and camping (where we can still ride the quads). Two years ago during the summer my wife and I were out riding and we ran into another group of riders that told me about Harry Roamers Motorcycle Club out of Denver,CO and that they had an Ice Racing Series every year. I did some research and I just had to give it a shot. It's a good thing I did because I ended up getting 1st place in the Quad C studded class 2013-2014! Not to mention it was AMAZING FUN!!!! The very next year my wife, one of my daughters and I all three raced in the series! They host the Ice races at Rainbow Falls, CO. I am currently racing in the Colorado Off-Road Championship Series (CORCS). Now if only my eyes weren’t bigger than my budget, lol. I attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. My assignments have included: Two combat tours to Iraq (2004-2005), (2006-2007), and two overseas tours to Hawaii. I have served as a Platoon Leaders driver with Alpha Company, 588th Engineer Battalion (Combat Engineer), Fort Hood, Texas; Team Leader with Bravo Company, 65th Engineer Battalion,Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Air Assault Instructor at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Squad Leader with Bravo Company 91st Engineer Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas; Platoon Sergeant with Alpha Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Senior Observer Controller with 1st Engineer Battalion, 361st Regiment, Fort Dix, NJ; and HHC Engineer Company Operations Sergeant with 52nd Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, CO and currently a 1SG with 544th EN CO (VERT) 4th Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, CO. My main passions in life are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. God gave me life, I defend my liberty and my family, freedom, and quad provide me my happiness. I have a great life and I am proud of my accomplishments thus far. I am hoping to be able to continue to progress with my riding and increase my competitiveness while not putting my family into bankruptcy in the process, lol. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my resume and ride it like it's your last day!

Riding Goals

My current riding goals are to finish the (CORCS) racing series in the top 3. I’m also going to race in the upcoming Harry Roamers Ice Racing series in the B Class. Next year I plan on entering into some GNCC races. I’m planning a trip Pine Lake this year to race in the 200cc ATC class. I will also be entering in the winter Kicker Arena Cross Armature Quad class. I'm still young and I'm just getting started again! I live to ride, on and off the track! I want to get my quad up to speed so I can eventually run with the A class! I've done it before and I know I can do it again!! My quad just needs a few more modifications, I just have to push myself....pushing myself has never been the problem though. I have the drive and the desire to win. I am a successful, driven, determined, hardheaded individual. I do not quit! I will be a success on the track again!

Competitive Highlights

In the last 2 years I have finished 1st in the Harry Roamers Ice Racing Quad C studded class series, 3rd place at the ATC nationals in the 200cc B class at Cahuilla creek motocross, 3rd place in the Kicker arena cross beginner class and 4th place finish in the vet class located in Pueblo Colorado. I have many other races in-between but who’s really counting when all we are really doing is living our dream, right?
