Personal History

My name is Megan Jones. I am 16 years old and I race a 397 Yamaha Banshee. This will be my 4th year racing and I love the sport so very much. I attend school at Calhoun County Middle High School, I am a 3.8-4.0 GPA Student. I plan to become a Pediatric Oncologist when I get older. During school I’m apart of the Basketball and Softball team. In the summer I spend my time on the track ATV drag racing or on the field playing travel softball for Gilmer Crush 16u.
I owned my first dirt-bike at age 4, it was a Yamaha PW 50. Every year I got better at riding so I would get a bigger four wheeler or dirtbike. Over the years I have grown to love four wheelers just a little more than dirt bikes. I now own a TTR 230 Dirtbike and a YFZ 450 four wheeler.
I love to accomplish more and more each race.   I always knew that I wanted to race but I didn’t know that I would grow to love the sport of racing this much.
From 8-3 I hit the books at school studying and as soon as I get home, I start practicing for the upcoming race.

Riding Goals

My riding goal is to become a better racer than I was the year before. I would love to get faster and better each race. I would love for people to know me out in the “big world”. It makes me feel better when I show up to a race and someone runs up to me and asks “Are you Megan Jones?” It makes me feel better knowing that my name is out there.
I want to be invited to races and ask to race.
