Personal History

My name is Damon Mark Talley, I was born on May 29th of 1996. I attend Fox Senior Highschool in Arnold, MO and am a freshman. I am 14 years old as of right now. I have been riding since i was about six years old and began riding on a Yamaha YFM225cc. Since then, i have fallen in love with Yamaha and the sport of riding atvs.

This year will be the first year of racing here in Missouri in a series called the Ozark Cross Country series. This is a traveling series that attracts racers and spectators from all over Missouri and even some from East Illinois. I plan on riding my 2004 Yamaha Warrior 350cc bike in as many races as i can, and i do intend to do well with it.

Riding Goals

Some riding goals i have set for myself include making it to my first race safely, attending and riding in as many races as possible, reaching my full riding potential, placing in the top five in at least four out of seven races in the OXC Series.

Other goals include having a good time riding with friends outside of racing, making new friends in my area at races, being friendly but competetive, having a good time and coming closer to my family as we travel Missouri together.

Competitive Highlights

In the past i have acceled in the sport of golf. I have been recognized by The First Tee of Greater St. Louis for my accomplishements in this program. I have won many tournaments where i have had to push myself to great lengths in order to come out on top. SOme of these winnings include the Parker Decker Golf Tournament (1st), and the Junior Optimist Golf Championship (2nd). I have also graduated from the Ace and Eagle Academy for Juniors. I have been recognized for completeing all requirements of the TPGA Junior Golf Academy also.

With the help of a few family members, I have created a piece of the great image of The First Tee program by showing respect, honor, dignity, self-respect, responsibility, and pride at all golfing events i have ever attended. Upon doing so I believe I have better taught myself how to set goals and accomplish them, with ease. I have created a great name for myself in the world of golf and intend to do the same with the world of quad racing.

My other highlights include competing in schooling. These accomplishments include placing Second in the Mastadion Art/Science Regional Fair, and other awards for great responsibility and academics.
