Personal History

Hello, my name is Mark Fredrickson from Yucca Valley, CA. I am 25 years old and currently serving Active Duty in the United States Marine Corps; holding the rank of Sergeant. I am happily married to Brittany Fredrickson and have two children; Ethan (6) and Penelope (under 1yr). Born and raised in Yucca Valley, I have been riding the deserts of Southern California all my life. As of two years ago I decided to test my riding abilities against the competition within District 37. This has proven to be a positive decision. Although I have not been racing long I have experienced a lot of growth. Within the first year of racing my proficiency, proven by my performance, allowed my to make the move from ATV Novice to ATV Expert. Although I participate in other styles of racing, desert is what holds my heart. I am never more satisfied after riding than when I finish a desert race. I love the true test of man and machine vs. the desert.
 

Riding Goals

My immediate goal is to earn the #1 plate for District 37's Desert ATV Expert class. Additionally, I plan on participating in the Big 6 Grand Prix Series, Southern California Motocross Championship, and STI Quad-X Racing Series. I will achieve these goals through hard work and dedication. I believe these two fundamentals are essential to success and these are the two things on which I have based my foundation. Although I have not raced in a MX format before, I believe I can be just as successful as I have been in the desert. For future years I plan to enter into the Professional ranks and continue to ride at a higher level.  

I also plan on representing the riding community in a positive manner. There are a lot of people who do not like the lifestyle that we live. I believe it is every riders responsibility to do their best to represent the community by riding safe and respectfully.  

Competitive Highlights

- 1st in class/ 3rd overall in 2015 Vikings MC National Hare and Hound.

- 1st in class in all races (ATV Novice/ ATV Expert).
