Personal History

My name is Makinley Drane, I am 16 years old. I'm 5'8 and weigh 150lbs. I work out and try to keep myself in shape the best I can. I grew up in a small town in Kentucky on a 1000 acre farm. I got my first quad when I was around 6 years old. I knew the first time I set in that seat, graves the handle bars and took off that I wants to race and win. I raced at the local fair that summer I was on a bone stock polaris 50 scrambler and I was racing built 90 mods with count less things done to them. My first year I came in 3rd out of around 10 other kids. Out of that 10 I was on the smallest cc and had the worst suspension out of all of them. The next several years I continued to race the local fairs and ride on our family farm. Sense then I have owned several quads and a dirt bike. I started trying to race competivly about 2 years ago on on a 2006 Honda 400ex I now ride a 2005 yamaha yfz450. I am currently working and paying for my mods 100% myself. With me having to pay for everything myself and have to go to school I don't have enough time to raise all the money needed for this sport.

I have built a small motocross track for me to practice on and we have countless miles of trails that I ride almost daily. I practice as much as I possibly can. It has been my dream ever sense I watched my first race at the county fair to race quads. I love riding bout mx and hair scramble I feel as if I'm equally good at both. My only problem right now is that I am out of money and my bike is far from being perfect for me to race at my full extent.

Riding Goals

My goals for this year are to race the msxc series. I am also goin to try and race as many local mx races as I can. I will try my hardest to be upfront and get on the podium as much as I possibly can.
