Personal History

I grew up in Fresno CA. and from a young age I loved to compete. I started showing horses in 4-H when i was 10 years old and then a couple years later i started competing in cowboy mounted shooting. While competing in mounted shooting I held the title of state champion for two years. Eventually I moved on and when I graduated high school in 2010 i joined the Marine Corps. Shortly after joining I got married and had a gorgeous baby daughter. Unfortunately my first marriage didn't last very long. Shortly after I got divorced I met Nicole who would later become my wonderful wife and my #1 fan. Her family always went out to the sand dunes to ride and we wanted to go with them so i bought a Suzuki LTZ400 and rode that until the night before our wedding I totaled it and landed myself in the hospital, luckily I was discharged in time to make it for the ceremony. In late march i met Bill Fendley, who is the one who introduced me to track riding. He convinced me to go ride the track with him and after I did I was instantly hooked. I sold the KFX400 i bought to replace the LTZ I totaled and bought the LTR450 I have now, and now all my free time and weekends are spent at the track. soon I plan on buying my daughter Annabelle her first quad and going to spread the fun that I have. I plan to continue riding on the track and in the desert as long as I possibly can.

Riding Goals

I started riding shortly after i joined the Marine Corps, just under 5 years ago. All i had ever ridden was in the desert and on trails until a couple months ago i was introduced to the motocross track in lake Elsinore. I had previously owned a 2003 KFX 400 and started riding that on the track and quickly realized i needed something a little wider and a lot faster. I sold that quad and i bought my 2006 Suzuki  LT-450 and immediately fell in love with it. I put a set of FASST FLEXX handle bars on it and started going to the track every weekend. I had my first race at Glen Helen motorsports park in the QuadX series and i put up a good fight and ended up 3rd in my class. fast forward a week and while riding my CRF450r I wrecked while riding at Perris raceway and ended up with a pretty bad concussion and severely sprained wrist. I wasn't letting that keep me from racing the following weekend at the Dirt Series round 3 in lake elsinore where in placed 3rd. I'm set to compete in the continuing rounds of both race series and any others that i can attend. My overall goal with my riding is to eventually make it to the pro class and maybe one day own enough land to own my own motocross park.

Competitive Highlights

My best Round finish was 2nd place and i finished the dirt series 3rd overall in points in the 450 beginner class
