Personal History

My name is Joey Dickey, I've been riding since approximately 3 years of age. My dad bought me my first motorcycle, a Suzuki JR50 with training wheels, when I was 2. He was excited to see me on it, although I didn't ride it until i turned 3. Then, when i was around 5 or 6 he bought me a Koplin 4 wheeler. I rode the heck outta that thing for about 2 years & wanted a motorcycle again. We bought a Yamaha TTR50 when i turned 7 or 8. I rode that until I was 12, then my mom bought me a Honda TRX250 when i turned 14, I loved that 4 wheeler, it was fast, at least i thought it was at the time.  That is until I started racing & had a hard time keeping up with the 400's & we started having a few issues with the 250. So a couple weeks before my 16th birthday, I talked with my mom & dad and told them I would rather have a new 4 wheeler than a car for my birthday, ( the whole year before I turned 16 I couldn't wait to get my drivers license & a car). When they said yes, I already had a couple 4 wheelers in mind. I ended up getting a new 2014 Suzuki LTZ400. Now that thing is fast. I immediately started practicing every single chance I had, if it was light outside, I was riding, and i still do.

I strive to compete harder and harder each time I get to the line at a race, this will never change. For the 2017 season I will be moving up to C-Class, to get a little stiffer competition.

Riding Goals

My number one goal each and every race is to ride smarter, ride harder and not give up.  And I can hold my head up high after each and every race no matter what place I finished in, because I know that I gave my all. I'll learn from my mistakes and be a better competitor with each race I finish. This along with support from family, friends and sponsors will help me accomplish my end goal, that is to be at the top of the food chain in the ATV world of cross country racing.
