Personal History
I am 47 years old. I raced track and hare scramble from age 10 to 31. At age 31 I was hired by the Indianapolis fire department and focused on that so only rode recreationally until this upcoming 2021 season. I ride a 2020 YFZ 450r. I have two sons Dalen who is eight and Cooper who is 11. They have both been riding since age 4. Cooper has always rode dirt bikes and Dalen has always had quads. Currently Cooper is riding a KX 85. Dalen has two quads a KFX 450 and a Raptor 125. They both are fearless and talented on their bike/quad. We are all going to be racing in the 2021 MWXC (Midwest Cross Country) series starting in March. They are both looking forward to this racing season and will be the first time they’ve competed. They both like big air on the tracks and are comfortable in the woods. I also have a a 27-year-old stepson who recently got home from the Marine Corps. He has rode dirt bikes most of his life and currently rides a 2014 KTM 450 dirtbike and will be competing as well. The series set up is dirt bikes race on Saturdays and Quads race on Sundays. We have camper and race trailer. We look forward to long weekends, good racing, and some podium finishes. We are a very outdoorsy family with a ton of seat time. Now time to have some competitive seat time!! We have two sponsors already. AOT Racing and DecalMX (decals for the dirt bikes) but look forward to more sponsorship for support and to thank up on that podium. I will be posting videos and pictures within the next 24 hour
Riding Goals
Goals are to pick up another series of motocross. They enjoy the woods but they both enjoy track riding as well. The MWXC only allows 8 to 12-year-old kids to ride up to a 125cc. Dalen is very comfortable at age 8 on his KFX 450 so would like to find a series that would allow him to race a larger cc Class. Both Cooper and Dalen clear 40 foot doubles with ease. Once they have a few races under their belt would like to expand to surrounding states for racing.
