Personal History

I have been riding in the sand since I was 5 years old. My family's idea of a thrilling weekend get away was to travel to a set of dunes, which is exactly what we would do a few times a month, no matter the distance. This dedication kept me riding into my childhood. I will always remember the excitement of getting close to the riding area. I would already have my gear on in anticipation that we would get there before the sun went down. However, we never arrived early enough to ride, so we would unpack and go to sleep. I always felt a connection to riding...the magic of the chilling morning, the first rev of the quad and that dune! The dune that that made you start your own path as you carved up it, then as you throw the quad around just at the peak to drift down it. As time has passed, not much has changed other than upgrading from the sand dunes to the motocross tracks. Those feelings as a child are still with me today while out at the track. Every time I go to the track a knot builds up in my throat and I am filled with excitement. Against my parents wishes, I have continued to race because I simply cannot live without it. I cannot leave this world with regrets and my parents have accepted that. Now I am back at racing with the support of my wife pushing me to excel even more. I love competing and pushing myself to be better and to go faster...In life and at the track!
