Personal History

I have been riding since I was very young, my family loved riding and introduced me at a young age. I tryed playing soccer and enjoyed that for about 6 years. I asked my parents if I could start racing cross country and we made it to a few races toward the end of the season. When the next season came around, my parents made me choose and I decided to stay with racing. Ive been racing for 3 years, 2 of the years in youth on a 300ex and this last year in the amatuer on a 400. I try to stay in shape running cross country and eating healthy. My whole family has started a racing team called "Fat Panda" racing after my father.  We have purchased a race trailer and go to almost every single race of the season.

Riding Goals

I want to strive to become the best I can, I'm in the amauter class in OCCRA (Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association) occra.com along with my younger brother Levi Hightower. I am going to try my hardest to make at least one GNCC race this season. I try to ride with all the pro and faster riders to learn how to become faster. All of the fast lines and little tricks I can.

Competitive Highlights

In one of our most recent races, I had a terrible start and ended up dead last out of 17 riders. Working my way through the hour and a half race, I managed to climb my way to the top and win the race. In my 2009 race season in youth I had 3 second places, 2 third places, 4 fourth places, 1 six place, 1 seventh place and one 8 place. In that season, I also went to Loretta Lynns GNCC and got 5th place in the schoolboy class. In my 2010 season in youth, I had 3 first places and 5 second places. In the 2011 season In the amatuer class I finished with 2 seconds, 3 thirds, 1 fifth, 1 sixth,1 seventh and one ninth. For the beginning of the 2012 race season, first round I finished first.
